DVP – Artificial Intelligence

A Leading Life Insurance Company is seeking an innovative DVP – Artificial Intelligence to head its enterprise AI and data science practice in Mumbai. In this senior leadership role, you will assume full responsibility for architecting, deploying, and scaling machine learning models to solve complex business challenges. Furthermore, you will drive the adoption of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks across corporate operations. The DVP – Artificial Intelligence must combine strong cloud engineering expertise on GCP, AWS, or Azure with a disciplined approach to MLOps and ethical AI governance. Partnering directly with executive headers, you will lead the end-to-end data analytics lifecycle, establish CI/CD pipeline automation, and mentor junior data scientists. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy machine learning models for predictive analytics, NLP, computer vision, and recommendation systems.
• Lead the enterprise AI vision, roadmap planning, and implementation of cloud-native AI platforms on GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Integrate frontier Generative AI technologies, LLMs, vector databases, and RAG architectures into operational workflows.
• Manage end-to-end AI project lifecycles using machine learning frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Establish MLOps practices, automated CI/CD pipelines, model performance monitoring, and systematic A/B testing.
• Lead data engineering integrations utilizing BigQuery, Kafka, and Snowflake to streamline cloud data pipelines.
• Enforce strict data privacy, regulatory compliance, risk management, and ethical AI governance guidelines.
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists and engineers, driving operational excellence and technical capability building.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 8+ Years of professional experience operating in core AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science roles.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python and SQL combined with expertise in TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face.
• Hands-on technical mastery handling LLMs, vector databases, RAG frameworks, and cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• Proven command over MLOps methodologies, cloud data platforms (BigQuery/Snowflake), and executive stakeholder management.
