Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document complex financial business requirements from trading desk headers and finance leads.
- Compile comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and scannable user stories.
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospective sessions.
- Own the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycle, driving test case generation, manual execution, and defect tracking.
- Map end-to-end investment banking data flows and analyze ledger processes to uncover automation gaps.
- Engage corporate business headers and deliver transparent, data-driven status updates to steering committees.
- Manage structural change management protocols to ensure full operational readiness before production deployments.
- Analyze ledger adjustment entries, mark-to-market calculations, and product control reporting streams.
- Collaborate with global technology squads to resolve cross-functional data mapping anomalies seamlessly.
- Formulate business process blueprints to support regulatory compliance changes and system architecture upgrades.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, or computer science branches.
- 5-7 Years of successful professional experience operating as a functional Business Analyst within investment banking.
- Direct functional exposure to Product Control workflows, trade matching, and structural P&L reporting loops.
- Hands-on practical mastery using Agile/Scrum project frameworks, backlog management tools, and data mapping profiles.
- Superb stakeholder management, corporate presentation, and technical requirements-documentation capabilities.
