T24 Test Automation Engineer

A Leading Financial Services Group is seeking a highly skilled T24 Test Automation Engineer to join its banking technology practice in Chennai. In this technically demanding role, you will design, develop, and execute comprehensive automated testing frameworks for critical banking applications. Furthermore, you will look over Temenos T24 configurations across specialized core modules, ensuring absolute system reliability. Consequently, this position is vital for mitigating deployment risks during enterprise core banking transformation programs.

The T24 Test Automation Engineer must combine expert knowledge of core banking workflows with hands-on scripting mastery across modern automation tools. Additionally, you will validate complex close-of-business (COB) batch lines and ensure data integrity over external API connection channels. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business specifications to extract detailed automated test scenarios, cases, and validation data blocks.
• Design, configure, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks utilizing Selenium, Playwright, and Java.
• Execute comprehensive functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) automated verification runs.
• Validate T24 parameter configurations across core banking, arrangement architecture, and wealth modules.
• Lead interface automated testing loops using OFS frameworks, IRIS connections, and REST APIs.
• Verify the processing accuracy of automated COB, EOD, and BOD batch runs and accounting ledger logs.
• Log, track, and manage database technical anomalies inside Jira, Xray, Zephyr, or Azure DevOps platforms.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Environment teams to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) releases.
• Perform physical backend validation scripts using advanced SQL queries to verify relational transaction logic.
• Optimize automated scripts continuously to minimize testing time boundaries during product release cycles.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a highly related technical discipline.
• 5 – 8 years of successful professional experience in core banking test automation practices.
• Mandatory hands-on programming execution using Selenium, Playwright, Java, and advanced SQL querying.
• Deep functional knowledge of Temenos T24/Transact architectures (TAFC/TAFJ platforms).
• Specialization in core banking modules, covering Arrangement Architecture (AA), Treasury, Lending, or Payments.
