A Leading Global Banking Group is seeking a delivery-minded Wholesale Credit PMO Lead to join its first-line credit management organization. In this high-impact governance role, you will lead the execution of regulatory remediation projects and ongoing credit monitoring across Global Banking and Commercial Banking portfolios. Furthermore, you will track covenant compliance, investigate root causes of credit issues, and embed robust data controls into daily wholesale lending operations. Consequently, this position is essential for protecting the bank against operational and regulatory risks.
The Wholesale Credit PMO Lead must combine corporate lending experience with strong credit risk analysis, covenant monitoring, and project governance capabilities. Collaborating across Coverage, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams, you will manage project workplans, coordinate onshore and vendor delivery pods, and ensure all deliverables are audit-ready. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of regulatory risk remediation projects and credit management initiatives across wholesale lending.
- Conduct comprehensive financial, competitor, and industry credit analyses for large corporate and financial institution clients.
- Monitor financial covenants, identify potential breaches early, and execute timely remediation in line with credit policies.
- Oversee collateral verification, credit facility compliance, and the remediation of credit documentation across core banking systems.
- Translate evolving regulatory guidelines into clear operational workplans, supervisory checklists, and quality control standards.
- Perform structured root-cause analyses on credit process defects and implement sustainable fixes across data and workflows.
- Supervise data quality KPIs to support executive management information (MI), governance reporting, and risk decision-making.
- Lead, mentor, and allocate work across internal teams and offshore vendor resources to optimize delivery throughput.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or an allied quantitative field.
- 6+ Years of corporate lending or wholesale credit experience with strong credit risk assessment capabilities.
- Deep functional understanding of wholesale credit processes, corporate banking facilities, covenants, and collateral structures.
- Proven delivery leadership experience managing remediation programs, data quality frameworks, and vendor teams.
- Strong proficiency in financial analysis, credit systems, data quality tracking, and executive stakeholder communication.
