A Leading Life Insurance Company is seeking a strategic State Head – CreditAccess to lead business development and institutional partnership expansion in Bengaluru. In this regional leadership position, you will take full responsibility for identifying, onboarding, and managing partnerships with Co-operative Banks, Primary Agricultural Co-operative Societies (PACS), Insurtechs, and MSMEs. Furthermore, you will drive state-level distribution for Credit Life (Raksha) and Non-Credit Life (Suraksha) product portfolios. Consequently, this role is essential for deepening market penetration across cooperative and financial inclusion networks.
The State Head – CreditAccess must combine extensive life insurance channel management experience with strong commercial negotiation and partnership acquisition capabilities. Leading local relationship management teams, you will oversee partner activation, business quality, compliance governance, and market intelligence gathering. Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard new institutional partners across Co-operative Banks, PACS, and corporate networks.
- Achieve state-level business targets, premium growth goals, and revenue milestones for Credit Life and Non-Credit Life lines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key partner decision-makers, driving long-term relationship health and retention.
- Formulate state-specific business growth plans and launch targeted initiatives to enhance partner productivity.
- Oversee commercial discussions, SLA execution, regulatory compliance, and business quality governance across all channels.
- Lead, mentor, and build capability across state-level business development and relationship management teams.
- Analyze competitor movements, market trends, and rural finance ecosystem developments to provide strategic market insights.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; an MBA or Postgraduate degree in Business Management is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Life Insurance, Bancassurance, Financial Services, or Partnership Distribution channels.
- Proven track record in business development, institutional partnership acquisition, and regional channel management.
- Strong background working alongside cooperative institutions, rural finance networks, or financial inclusion platforms.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, commercial negotiation, team leadership, and strategic execution capabilities.
