Snowflake Data Modeller

A Leading Technology Consulting Firm is seeking a detailed-oriented Snowflake Data Modeller to join its enterprise data architecture practice across major Indian cities. In this key architectural position, you will take responsibility for analyzing tactical and strategic business requirements and designing enterprise data store layers. Furthermore, you will build data models in Snowflake and implement modern Data Mesh frameworks. Consequently, this role is critical for creating scalable, organized data structures that support enterprise analytics.

The Snowflake Data Modeller must combine advanced data modeling capabilities with proven experience creating High-Level Designs (HLDs) and attribute mapping documents. Operating within multicultural Agile teams, you will act as a primary liaison between Product Owners and software engineering squads to ensure technical solutions match commercial needs. Therefore, the group is looking for an analytical professional who understands modern data tools like DBT and SQLDBM. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze tactical and strategic business requirements to translate them into robust enterprise IT data solutions.
• Design data store layers, conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise cloud data platforms on Snowflake.
• Implement and govern modern Data Mesh architectural patterns and decentralized data domain structures.
• Author comprehensive High-Level Designs (HLDs), High-Level Models (HLMs), and granular attribute mapping documents.
• Act as the core technical liaison between Product Owners, business analysts, and development engineers.
• Collaborate actively within multicultural Agile/Scrum teams to ensure timely delivery of scalable data store components.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related branch.
• 8+ Years of professional experience in data modeling, database design, and enterprise data architecture.
• Proven technical mastery designing data store layers and schemas specifically utilizing Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with modern Data Mesh frameworks, domain-driven data modeling, and mapping documentation.
• Beneficial skills: Practical familiarity with DBT, SQLDBM, Apache Hadoop, or Apache Kafka data streams.
