Key Responsibilities for the Senior PMO Consultant
- Lead the Project Management Office (PMO) to support efficient project planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules using advanced tools like MSP and Primavera P6.
- Oversee budgeting and cost control processes to ensure financial alignment with project objectives.
- Execute quantity surveying and manage technical documentation across the project lifecycle.
- Identify and manage project risks while implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Provide expert analysis on construction contracts, including FIDIC frameworks and EOT claims.
- Conduct delay analysis to identify bottlenecks and propose actionable recovery plans.
- Generate comprehensive MIS reports and dashboards using Power BI or Tableau for senior management.
- Coordinate across multiple sectors including Real Estate, Thermal Power, and Transportation Infra.
- Ensure seamless transition through project stages from Design and Engineering to Commissioning.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Graduation in Civil or Mechanical Engineering is required for this technical role.
- Post-graduation in Project Management or Construction Management (NICMAR preferred).
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in project planning and monitoring.
- Mandatory proficiency in MS Excel for complex data management and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of project lifecycles, including Tenders, Contracts, and Procurement.
- Ability to join immediately or within a maximum of 30 days is highly preferred.
Technical Skills and Competencies
- Advanced scheduling skills using MS Projects and Primavera P6 software.
- Familiarity with digital construction tools such as Auto CAD, BIM, and ERP software.
- Strong analytical skills to perform complex delay analysis and manage contract frameworks.
- Exceptional communication skills to lead multidisciplinary teams across PAN India locations.
- Experience working with leading infrastructure firms or large-scale construction groups.
