Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the local actuarial team while fostering a culture of excellence.
• Shape the strategy and direction of the local life insurance consulting practice effectively.
• Apply strong technical knowledge in statutory valuation, solvency capital, and ALM.
• Deliver a wide range of actuarial projects while collaborating with consultants globally.
• Drive business development and networking initiatives to expand the local client base.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and consultants across the globe.
• Prepare project proposals, manage client relationships, and oversee billing processes.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Education and Experience

• Fellow Actuary with a minimum of 12 years of experience in the life insurance sector.
• Significant exposure to working on actuarial projects for overseas life insurers.
• Proven leadership skills with a deep passion for mentoring and team development.

Skills and Abilities

• Expertise in actuarial modelling with a commitment to quality and innovation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines successfully.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Experience in business development and a dedication to rigorous quality standards.
• Willingness to be based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, for at least two years.
