A leading global consultancy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst – P&C Capital Modelling to join its growing Actuarial & Analytics team. In this hybrid role, you will contribute to complex projects across model development, parametrization, and validation. The Senior Analyst must possess a strong background in capital modelling software such as Igloo or Tyche. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for automation and executing model developments to enhance productivity. Therefore, the company is looking for a part-qualified professional with 2 to 5 years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance. Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to diverse capital modelling projects, including model development, parametrization, and validation.
- Execute complex model runs and ensure accuracy in regulatory reporting for global stakeholders.
- Develop deep subject matter expertise in one or more specialized areas of capital modelling.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, automation, and new tool developments.
- Optimize productivity and quality to efficiently deliver multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate within the Actuarial & Analytics team to build broader organizational capabilities.
- Liaise effectively with functional heads to manage the interaction between various insurance functions.
- Ensure all deliverables meet the high standards of quality and integrity expected by international clients.
- Maintain robust documentation for all modelling assumptions and validation processes.
- Manage multiple activities and changing priorities through strong project management skills.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Part-Qualified professional from an internationally recognized actuarial Society or Institute.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of professional experience specifically in P&C Capital Modelling.
- Proven track record working with Internal Models and Solvency II reporting for the Europe/UK market.
- Hands-on experience with capital modelling software such as Igloo or Tyche is mandatory.
Technical Skills and Competencies
- Expertise in technical modelling using Excel, VBA, and programming languages like Python or R.
- Proficiency in SQL for data management and analysis within a capital framework.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for managing global client relationships.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to handle complex parametrization and model testing.
- Ability to work independently while taking full ownership of assigned project lifecycles.
