QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust end-to-end automated testing frameworks using Playwright with Python.
• Validate system capability, transaction processing performance, and cloud reliability metrics across UI and API layers.
• Construct, configure, and optimize automated test delivery pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Orchestrate and execute parallelized Playwright test suites securely inside containerized Docker environments for maximum scalability.
• Automate comprehensive testing protocols for RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoint systems alongside complex front-end UI flows.
• Partner directly with application developers and DevOps teams to integrate continuous testing gates into automated software workflows.
• Provide technical leadership, manage test environment strategies, and mentor junior engineers in automation script architecture.
• Troubleshoot script execution failures, diagnose execution bottlenecks, and optimize script performance profiles systematically.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Graduate degree qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or an allied technical domain.
• 6+ Years of successful professional experience operating as a QA Automation Engineer, Test Architect, or DevOps Specialist.
• Proven technical mastery writing automated test scripts utilizing Playwright with Python across web applications.
• Hands-on production experience handling CI/CD tools, containerized Docker infrastructures, and parallel test executions.
• Deep functional understanding of backend API verification conventions, covering both RESTful and GraphQL architectures.
• Beneficial exposure to cloud-based networks (AWS, Azure, or GCP) alongside advanced system performance monitoring tools.
