Platform Frontend Engineer

A Leading Technology Services Group is seeking a highly analytical Platform Frontend Engineer to design, build, and optimize its core micro-frontend platform infrastructure. In this strategic architecture role, you will take full ownership of the host shell, runtime service injection, and navigation orchestration across complex enterprise systems. Furthermore, you will build dual-delivery component systems implementing enterprise aesthetics with strict WCAG AA accessibility compliance. The Platform Frontend Engineer must combine an advanced command of TypeScript and JavaScript runtimes with deep systems thinking capabilities. Working with modern framework lifecycles and AI-augmented workflows, you will navigate architecture ambiguities comfortably to provide shared libraries consumed by dozens of distributed squads. Key Responsibilities

• Design and support micro-frontend platform infrastructures including host shells, runtime service injection, and messaging protocols.
• Construct a dual-delivery design component library utilizing React and Lit Web Components to implement an enterprise system.
• Develop core platform services handling internationalization, configuration management, logging, personalization, and RBAC models.
• Engineer developer tooling components including CLI scaffolding, local sandbox frameworks, build tools, and custom SDK packages.
• Collaborate on backend integrations, reading and modifying Spring Boot microservices, database schemas, and REST APIs.
• Enforce absolute web platform accessibility compliance, applying WCAG AA, complex aria patterns, and keyboard navigation rules.
• Leverage AI tools and coding assistants as authentic collaborators to execute code reviews, ticket triage, and component porting.
• Participate actively in collaborative architecture design discussions, sprint delivery tracks, and multi-phase continuous deployment promotion.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a highly quantitative discipline.
• 6+ Years of successful professional experience operating within a Frontend Engineering or Platform Architecture environment.
• Expert practical command over TypeScript/JavaScript runtimes, React 19 concurrent features, Lit 3, and Web Components (Shadow DOM).
• Hands-on familiarity with build tooling (Vite, Webpack), CSS architecture (tokens, Tailwind), and browser performance optimization.
• Prior background handling micro-frontend architectures, shared component libraries, or financial systems is highly preferred.
