A Leading Technology Services Firm is seeking a highly technical Pega Senior System Architect to join its digital transformation practice in Bengaluru. In this critical senior consultant position, you will lead the solution design and architecture for enterprise-scale Pega implementations. Furthermore, you will assume absolute responsibility for driving hands-on development tracks across client engagement ecosystems. Consequently, this role is essential for delivering robust customer service capabilities and enhancing global client platforms.
The Pega Senior System Architect must combine extensive Pega software development mastery with a proven capacity to function as a lead engineer. Operating within an agile workspace, you will construct application layers from scratch while optimizing automated testing frameworks. Therefore, the group is looking for an analytical professional who manages stakeholder interactions and technical mentoring paths comfortably under fast-paced delivery timelines. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the solution design, architectural blueprints, and technical delivery parameters for enterprise-scale Pega applications.
- Execute hands-on application development from scratch leveraging modern Pega Infinity architectures (v8.7 or above).
- Design and support complex Pega Customer Service features, focusing on Customer 360 frameworks and channel integrations.
- Provide technical leadership, manage implementation dependencies, and mentor junior development engineers in coding standards.
- Partner with cross-functional project squads to embed DevOps practices and continuous deployment tools in Pega environments.
- Build automated software validation rules utilizing PegaUnit testing pipelines to maximize platform performance.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning meetings, and technical stakeholder updates.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or an allied quantitative stream.
- Minimum 7 years of core experience in Pega software development, with at least 2 years explicitly operating in a Lead Developer role.
- Strong, hands-on development expertise handling Pega Customer Service frameworks, Customer 360 rules, and Pega Infinity platforms.
- Demonstrated understanding of DevOps practices, automated testing systems (PegaUnit), and continuous CI/CD pipelines.
- Highly preferred: Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) credential; additional Pega certifications are an advantage.
