A Leading Global Consultancy is seeking an analytical Non-Functional Testing (NFT) Engineer to support its banking technology division. In this critical QA role, you will design, execute, and analyze non-functional testing activities across complex banking applications. Furthermore, you will build automated validation utilities to uncover core system performance issues. Consequently, this position is vital for ensuring high application reliability, scalability, and information security parameters across enterprise-scale technology landscapes.
The Non-Functional Testing (NFT) Engineer must possess a broad technology background covering client browser configurations, REST APIs, and microservices databases. Additionally, you will integrate non-functional trend reporting workflows into continuous CI/CD deployment pipelines. Therefore, the group is looking for an infrastructure expert who executes fault injection approaches and latency tracking metrics under pressure. If you want to configure technical resilience strategies for top global clients, this position offers an ideal career path.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and analyze non-functional testing protocols across high-volume banking applications.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks, system utilities, and performance testing assets.
- Define measurable non-functional requirements (NFRs), success criteria, and evidence-based validation approaches.
- Perform root cause analysis for performance, resilience, and security issues using distributed log metrics.
- Integrate automated non-functional software testing scripts into CI/CD pipelines with tight quality gates.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and developer teams to ensure multi-tier system scalability.
- Conduct load, stress, and endurance testing to establish baseline capacity planning limits.
- Execute failure scenario testing, timeout validations, and advanced fault injection methodologies.
- Interpret DAST and SAST reports while verifying compliance with OWASP Top 10 security risks.
- Track operational indicators including Service Level Indicators (SLI) and Service Level Objectives (SLO).
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a highly related technical branch.
- 3 – 7 years of successful professional experience operating as a Non-Functional Testing Engineer.
- Mandatory automation programming proficiency utilizing Java or TypeScript inside version-controlled repositories.
- Solid functional understanding of network infrastructure, web application firewalls (WAF), and identity access management.
- Prior background working with Temenos core products or large banking platforms is an added advantage.
