Migration ETL Developer

A Leading Financial Services Group is seeking an analytical Migration ETL Developer to support its core technology division. In this critical data migration role, you will design, develop, and execute end-to-end extraction, transformation, and loading pipelines using the Informatica Cloud platform. Furthermore, you will build robust data mapping configurations, manage active task flows, and troubleshoot technical database issues across enterprise environments. The Migration ETL Developer must combine deep relational database mastery with a structured approach to quantitative data profiling and ledger reconciliation. Additionally, you will coordinate across multi-functional engineering teams to implement version-controlled data pipelines and Change Data Capture workflows. Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and execute end-to-end data migration strategies using Informatica Cloud IDMC tools.
• Build scalable ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load sensitive financial data from legacy networks.
• Create custom IDMC mapping templates, configure database loaders, and manage system monitoring dashboards.
• Perform physical data profiling, structural quality assessments, and automated data reconciliation scripts.
• Write and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries across Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2 databases.
• Implement robust metadata management strategies alongside Change Data Capture technical frameworks.
• Incorporate version-controlled data assets into continuous deployment workflows using Git version platforms.
• Collaborate with technology vendors, database architects, and functional consultants to align mapping parameters.
• Address system bottlenecks and provide clear technical documentation, migration runbooks, and sign-off charts.
• Ensure data transformation rules comply perfectly with financial sector internal controls and audit benchmarks.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or highly quantitative domains.
• 7-10 Years of successful experience in ETL development specifically inside enterprise banking or financial services environments.
• Demonstrated technical involvement managing data migration workstreams for core banking platform transitions.
• Expert programming command over Informatica PowerCenter, Cloud IDMC tools, and relational database architectures.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and basic awareness of banking data components is preferred.
