Key Responsibilities
- Execute pricing for group insurance schemes, focusing on Group Credit Life and Group Term products.
- Manage the end-to-end quotation process for credit life schemes with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Liaise with internal Sales and Underwriting teams to ensure product saleability and alignment.
- Coordinate with reinsurers to obtain and finalize competitive group quotations for the portfolio.
- Conduct ongoing monitoring of scheme profitability and detailed analysis of mortality experience.
- Prepare and present regular MIS reports to management regarding pricing performance and trends.
- Analyze data to identify trends that impact the financial health of group insurance portfolios.
- Navigate the regulatory landscape to ensure all group pricing practices remain compliant.
- Utilize MS Excel for complex data analysis and financial modeling of insurance products.
- Support broader actuarial initiatives and process improvements within the pricing department.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Statistics, Commerce, Science, or a related field.
- 1 to 5 years of professional experience, with a strong preference for prior credit life quotation expertise.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel for technical data analysis.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for internal and external stakeholder management.
- Candidates pursuing actuarial exams are preferred, though this is not a mandatory requirement.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a dedicated customer-centric approach to service delivery.
