Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end corporate accounting activities and maintain the general ledger.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end financial closing processes to ensure timely reporting.
  • Prepare detailed financial statements and schedules as per Ind AS and IRDAI requirements.
  • Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of open items.
  • Liaise with internal and statutory auditors to facilitate smooth audit cycles.
  • Manage the accounts payable function and ensure vendor payments are processed accurately.
  • Maintain strict adherence to the company’s accounting policies and internal control frameworks.
  • Support the tax team in providing necessary data for direct and indirect tax filings.
  • Monitor cash flow requirements and coordinate with the treasury team for liquidity management.
  • Drive process automation in accounting to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • CA Inter, M.Com, or MBA Finance (Chartered Accountant preferred).
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in corporate accounting, ideally in the insurance sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS, and IRDAI accounting guidelines.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work under tight financial deadlines.
