A Leading Technology Services Firm is seeking an experienced Linux SRE to manage, automate, and optimize enterprise-scale infrastructure platforms. In this production-critical site reliability role, you will assume absolute responsibility for administering high-availability RHEL/Linux server clusters. Furthermore, you will build robust scripting automation frameworks to accelerate deployment velocities and drive service stability. Consequently, this position is essential for maintaining infrastructure performance, security compliance, and platform reliability across global data centers.
The Linux SRE must combine deep operating system administration expertise with modern DevOps engineering methodologies. Additionally, you will coordinate across Network, Databases, and Cybersecurity teams to execute infrastructure patching, storage allocation tuning, and vulnerability remediation scripts. Therefore, the organization is looking for a proactive problem-solver who comfortable managing high-volume incident triages under strict SLA timelines. Key Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and configure enterprise RHEL/Linux production server environments to ensure maximum uptime.
- Engineer custom Bash and Python automation scripts to eliminate manual server tasks and accelerate deployments.
- Design and deploy configuration management templates across complex system networks using Ansible tooling.
- Configure and monitor LVM storage configurations, disk arrays, file-system expansions, and partition spaces.
- Troubleshoot intricate networking topologies including TCP/IP data flows, VLAN routing, and corporate firewall rules.
- Support continuous integration and delivery tracks using Jenkins infrastructure, GitHub systems, and Jira tracking.
- Lead production incident management operations, investigate root causes, and process systematic change approvals.
- Perform regular server security updates, kernel patching schedules, and automated vulnerability remediations.
- Optimize query data environments and maintain local database connections handling PostgreSQL or SQL environments.
- Deploy, calibrate, and monitor logging telemetry networks utilizing Splunk, AppDynamics, or Nessus scanners.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Graduate degree qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant engineering stream.
- 5+ Years of professional experience operating as a Linux Administrator, SRE, or Infrastructure DevOps Engineer.
- Expert practical command over RHEL/Linux system administration, Bash script writing, and Ansible playbook development.
- Hands-on technical familiarity handling LVM, TCP/IP networking, Jenkins pipelines, and relational database systems.
- Beneficial exposure to modern container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), IaC (Terraform), or GCP cloud environments.
