A Leading Life Insurance Company is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Lead – Incentives to steer its enterprise rewards architecture. In this critical financial vertical role, you will take absolute ownership of the end-to-end design, governance, calculation, and payout of sales incentives. Furthermore, you will combine financial rigor with digital automation to ensure commission frameworks drive sustainable sales productivity across multiple channels. Therefore, the group is looking for a data-driven finance professional who builds scalable business models comfortably under strict monthly schedules. If you want to lead high-impact incentive lifecycle optimization campaigns, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, calibrate, and institutionalize monthly, quarterly, and annual incentive schemes aligned to APE, FYP, and VNB goals.
- Develop custom role-based incentive structures for multi-layered sales hierarchies across Agency, Bancassurance, and Direct lines.
- Benchmark incentive rules against competitor metrics to define weights, caps, claw-back frameworks, and exception paths.
- Govern the end-to-end payout computation lifecycles, leading data sourcing, transformation script execution, and validation checks.
- Build, review, and stress-test complex financial computation engines using advanced Excel models, VBA macros, and SQL logic.
- Liaise with Finance to enforce strict budget adherence, accrual accounting accuracy, and maker-checker audit trails.
- Track program effectiveness through channel-wise ROI analysis, sensitivity data profiling, and performance scorecards.
- Lead the automation of sales commission platforms, partnering with IT to translate incentive logic into rule engines.
- Manage user acceptance testing (UAT) paths, system enhancement tracks, data migration runs, and post-payout escalation triages.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) from an accredited institute.
- 8+ Years of successful professional experience operating within an incentive design, financial control, or corporate commission framework.
- Expert practical command over data manipulation, handling advanced MS Excel architectures, VBA macros, and SQL query strings.
- Demonstrated understanding of financial auditing rules, program governance metrics, risk leakage control, and data engineering.
- Superb stakeholder management capabilities, relationship building skills, and analytical communication mechanics.
