IBM MDM Product SME

A Leading Banking & Financial Services Group is seeking an authoritative IBM MDM Product SME to join its core Enterprise Reference & Data Management Systems (ERDMS) team in Bengaluru. In this high-visibility technical leadership position, you will provide subject matter expertise on IBM Product Master (IBM MDM Product Master) to accelerate strategic platform upgrade initiatives. Furthermore, you will direct hands-on development, data center migrations, and complex cross-platform integrations. Consequently, this role is vital for maintaining master data integrity across multi-brand enterprise platforms.

The IBM MDM Product SME must combine extensive software engineering mastery with deep architectural knowledge of IBM Product Master environments. Working within heavily regulated banking ecosystems, you will resolve complex technical blockers during build, testing, and deployment cycles while mentoring engineering squads. Therefore, the organization is looking for a consultative technical lead who guides best practices and reduces development ramp-up time seamlessly. Key Responsibilities

• Provide architectural leadership and technical direction for the ERDMS IBM Product Master Platform Upgrade program.
• Deliver hands-on software development and configuration for IBM MDM Product Master changes and cross-brand delivery tracks.
• Support Data Centre Migration projects, environmental cutover activities, and ongoing Business-As-Usual (BAU) commitments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges across build, testing, deployment, and post-release stabilization phases.
• Provide specialized testing support and technical guidance throughout the software development and release lifecycle.
• Mentor, coach, and upskill ERDMS software engineers to ensure effective knowledge transfer on IBM Product Master best practices.
• Collaborate with enterprise data architects and governance headers to enforce robust master data governance principles.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4-14 Years of software engineering and master data management experience in enterprise-grade IT environments.
• Deep subject matter expertise and demonstrable track record delivering platform upgrades on IBM MDM Product Master.
• Strong hands-on technical problem-solving capabilities within complex, highly regulated banking or financial services architectures.
• Proven technical mentoring capabilities, executive communication skills, and cross-platform integration acumen.
