Key Responsibilities
- Lead the innovation pipeline for the product department, focusing on differentiated insurance solutions.
- Identify emerging trends in Fintech and Insurtech to integrate into the company’s long-term strategy.
- Design and develop “capability building” initiatives for the product and sales teams to enhance expertise.
- Collaborate with the Data Science team to utilize predictive analytics for personalized product offerings.
- Oversee the development of “Day 2” product features and innovative riders to enhance existing plans.
- Foster a culture of design thinking and customer centricity within the product development process.
- Evaluate and pilot new distribution technologies to improve product reach and customer experience.
- Represent the organization at industry forums and maintain a network with global innovation hubs.
- Manage the innovation budget and ensure that new initiatives deliver a measurable ROI.
- Lead a team of specialists dedicated to research, prototyping, and technical capability enhancement.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Post Graduate / MBA with 12–15 years of experience, preferably in Product Innovation or Strategy.
- Strong understanding of the Life Insurance regulatory framework and actuarial principles.
- Proven track record of launching successful, innovative products or digital platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and the Board.
- Passion for technology, digital transformation, and modern customer experience trends.
