The Group Valuation Senior Assoc must combine meticulous mathematical calculation traits with a deep understanding of corporate group insurance products. Additionally, you will utilize specialized actuarial software tools to manage data complete checks and perform detailed mortality tracking studies. Key Responsibilities
- Perform exhaustive data validation checks and quality control audits on monthly actuarial group valuation data arrays.
- Execute timely and accurate monthly statutory valuations for corporate group products to ensure capital monitoring.
- Support the structural preparation of annual IRDAI regulatory reporting ARA documentation, including DD, DDD, NLB, and LB forms.
- Compile precise written data blocks to support the formatting of the annual Actuarial Report and Abstract (AAAR).
- Conduct structured mortality tracking studies and experience analytics explicitly tailored for group product lines.
- Perform precise solvency margin calculations and monitor capital adequacy movements for all group product verticals.
- Utilize advanced actuarial spreadsheet functions, database mapping rules, and modeling strings to accelerate reporting.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree qualification in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a highly numerate discipline.
- Successful professional clearance and completion of a minimum of 5 professional actuarial exams from a recognized institute.
- 2-3 years of core experience operating explicitly within the group valuation wing of a recognized life insurance firm.
- Demonstrated technical understanding of specialized actuarial modeling software platforms such as Prophet, DCS, or SQL databases.
- Strong practical command over MS Word, advanced Excel data architectures, and professional PowerPoint presentations.
