Key Responsibilities for the Equity Dealer

  • Evaluate market developments constantly through regular interactions with brokers, analysts, and other dealers.
  • Provide accurate and timely market information to the investment team to support decision-making.
  • Ensure full compliance with all internal guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and recommend potential trading strategies and fresh investment ideas to the Fund Manager.
  • Support the Fund Manager and Head of Investments in managing the portfolio to achieve department KPIs.
  • Maintain the integrity of the trading process to ensure there are no major internal audit issues.
  • Assist the investment team in daily operational activities and comprehensive MIS reporting.
  • Monitor market intelligence trends to stay ahead of volatility and emerging sector developments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless end-to-end deal processing.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Educational background with a B.Com or MBA degree from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of professional experience specifically within the Indian Equity market.
  • Proven ability to execute trades and manage the subsequent system-based closure processes.
  • Solid understanding of technical analysis and its application in daily trading activities.
  • Basic knowledge of portfolio construction, review, and general risk management in investing.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
