A Leading Global Consultancy is seeking a security-driven DevSecOps Engineer to join its core technology automation practice in Mumbai. In this permanent role, you will take responsibility for designing, implementing, and operating secure, automated CI/CD pipelines across Microsoft Azure. Furthermore, you will embed rigorous compliance scanning parameters and automated quality gates directly into software delivery lifecycles. Consequently, this position is crucial for enabling application engineering squads to ship features rapidly and safely without compromising risk benchmarks.

The DevSecOps Engineer must excel at shifting security checks left, ensuring vulnerability remediation across complex software artifacts and containerized workloads. Additionally, you will utilize Infrastructure as Code tools to deploy private endpoints and manage encryption keys using secure cloud services. Therefore, the firm is looking for an automation-first engineer who translates risk parameters into clean script structures. If you want to govern enterprise-scale pipeline environments, this position offers an exceptional match.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions platforms.
  • Integrate automated security scanning, policy enforcement check-ins, and compliance gates into release tracks.
  • Orchestrate automated application builds, system testing, software deployments, and instant rollback procedures.
  • Deploy secure cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code blueprints like ARM, Bicep, or Terraform files.
  • Embed Static Application Security Testing, dependency checks, and container image scans into workflows.
  • Configure secure access parameters using Azure Key Vault secrets, Managed Identities, and granular RBAC rules.
  • Deploy native defensive barriers including Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel SIEM platforms.
  • Secure containerized workloads operating on Azure Kubernetes Service and manage Azure Container Registries.
  • Track system reliability parameters by defining Service Level Indicators and Service Level Objectives.
  • Enforce compliance footprints across management groups using Azure Policy tools and secure landing zones.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related quantitative technical disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 Years of successful experience in IT, with meaningful specialization in DevSecOps engineering.
  • Mandatory possession of the professional Microsoft certification: AZ-400 DevOps Engineer Expert.
  • Expert scripting command using PowerShell, Python, or Bash matched with hands-on container security depth.
  • Prior background working within regulated enterprise environments such as financial services is preferred.
