In this high-visibility individual contributor role, you will take responsibility for sourcing, analyzing, and executing fixed income trades in a timely and cost-effective manner. Furthermore, you will monitor extensive individual securities across the government and corporate bond sectors. The Debt Investment Dealer must maintain reliable broker relationships to ensure maximum market coverage and optimal deal execution. Additionally, you will analyze changing interest rate cycles, macroeconomic indicators, and trade pricing sensitivities to support ongoing portfolio rebalancing. Therefore, the firm is looking for an analytical thinker who thrives within fast-paced treasury trading spaces. Key Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, trade, and monitor separate fixed income securities inside corporate and government bond markets.
- Execute high-volume debt transactions with absolute technical accuracy while securing minimum impact costs.
- Cultivate and maintain reliable broker and market-maker relationships to ensure superior trade coverage.
- Perform daily operational front office tasks, including compiling fund review sheets and running MIS macros.
- Drive process automation across the dealing desk to accelerate transactional data tracking velocities.
- Liaise directly with investment operations teams to coordinate compliance checks and regulatory disclosures.
- Verify cash availability data streams across funds prior to launching market trade execution scripts.
- Interact with stock exchange boards to monitor new debt product launches and operational trading settings.
- Engage with credit rating agencies to gather critical research data supporting macro portfolio research.
- Adhere strictly to centralized risk parameters, internal investment guidelines, and statutory parameters.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Graduate degree qualification, MBA in Finance, or a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 2-4 Years of direct professional experience operating on a Fixed Income dealing or treasury desk.
- Deep functional understanding of fixed income products, including sovereign g-secs and structured debt.
- Hands-on technical familiarity with institutional market database terminals (Bloomberg or LSEG Refinitiv platforms).
- Advanced mastery of analytical spreadsheet modeling combined with excellent price negotiation capabilities.
