A Leading Technology Services Group is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data architectures in Bangalore. In this technical position, you will build robust ETL/ELT pipelines that drive business intelligence, data lakes, and complex reporting engines. Furthermore, you will leverage cloud data warehouses to structure high-performance dimensional models and clean data vaults[cite: 11]. Consequently, this role is essential for ensuring data governance, query optimization, and technical performance integrity across large-scale datasets.

The Data Engineer must combine expert Python programming capabilities with an advanced command of specialized financial database environments. Additionally, you will partner with cross-functional software squads, business analysts, and infrastructure headers to modernize legacy structures using modern big-data tools. Therefore, the company is looking for an agile data modeler who troubleshoots production anomalies comfortably under tight operational timelines. If you want to develop next-generation data streaming platforms, this position is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, program, and maintain automated, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines handling multi-terabyte data arrays.
  • Construct, configure, and optimize enterprise data warehouses, dimensional star schemas, and hybrid data lakes.
  • Develop advanced, highly optimized SQL query strings and structured data transformation processes.
  • Manage and scale large-scale cloud datasets using Snowflake and relational database architectures.
  • Enforce corporate data quality standards, consistency tracking, audit integrity, and centralized data governance lines.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, systems analysts, and core engineering units to capture system parameters.
  • Profile database performance, diagnose query processing bottlenecks, and resolve critical production pipeline bugs.
  • Support cloud platform modernization initiatives and cloud-based data lake ingestion setups.
  • Utilize advanced python libraries including Pandas, NumPy, and Dask to manipulate complex structured datasets.
  • Document data schema alterations, catalog metadata entries, and maintain source control pipelines via Git.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a highly quantitative discipline.
  • 5-7 Years of successful professional experience operating as a Data Engineer or Core Database Developer.
  • Technical programming mastery using Python (Pandas, NumPy) and advanced SQL query development models.
  • Direct, hands-on production engineering experience working with Snowflake and relational platforms.
  • Familiarity with Dimensional Modeling (Kimball/Inmon), Data Vault design, and big data environments (Spark, Airflow, Databricks).
