A Leading Banking Group is seeking an analytical Cybersecurity Business Analyst to join its global operations and intelligence practice. In this strategic technical role, you will serve as a vital link between information security subject matter experts and technology delivery teams to design a robust Target Operating Model (TOM). Furthermore, you will engineer comprehensive system requirement models, use cases, and agile user stories to scale threat triage capabilities. Consequently, this position is critical for mitigating information security risks and optimizing cyber resilience lines across the global estate.
The Cybersecurity Business Analyst must combine deep requirements-gathering discipline with a practical understanding of agile frameworks like Scrum or SAFe. Working closely with corporate representatives, you will translate complex cyber security data into scannable business case proposals and trace deliverables front-to-back. Therefore, the group is looking for an adaptable analyst who unblocks operational tracks comfortably under aggressive deployment timelines. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define, refine, and deploy the central Cyber Operations Target Operating Model.
- Capture technical requirements and compile precise specifications, maintaining full front-to-back traceability matrixes.
- Lead quality assurance reviews over newly built software tools to ensure absolute alignment with business requirements.
- Construct detailed business case submissions, economic justification notes, and expected return-on-value calculations.
- Represent the cyber delivery vertical within governance forums, providing program insights to Executive Committees.
- Identify, document, and manage technical risks, system bottlenecks, and cross-functional program dependencies.
- Formulate comprehensive user acceptance test plans mapped directly back to foundational technical requirements.
- Manage institutional governance clearances covering external hosting committees and regional data visa protocols.
- Map and document updated standard operating procedures to support newly launched cybersecurity tools and features.
- Deliver peer mentoring support to junior business analysts to cultivate best-practice system analysis models.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related business stream.
- 5+ Years of experience operating as a Business Analyst, Solution Analyst, or Systems Consultant within complex IT landscapes.
- Proven core expertise developing Target Operating Models, process mapping workflows, and agile User Stories.
- Advanced functional familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, SAFe), JIRA, Confluence, and MS Visio.
- Superb English communication, stakeholder coordination, and analytical documentation skills in high-pressure setups.
