A Leading Professional Services Firm is seeking an analytical CTRM Consultant to join its commodity trading and risk management practice. In this specialized business analyst role, you will act as a critical bridge connecting corporate trading users with software development squads. Furthermore, you will evaluate end-to-end trading, risk reporting, and accounting settlement processes across Oil, Gas, Power, and Metals sectors. The CTRM Consultant must demonstrate functional expertise across leading enterprise trading systems and deep requirement gathering depth. Additionally, you will draft comprehensive Business Requirement Documents and design automated validation assets to support system migrations and upgrades. Therefore, the firm is looking for a structured analyst who leverages modern cloud tools to shorten transaction loops. Key Responsibilities
- Understand, map, and document how complex commodity trading businesses operate across global markets.
- Analyze physical and financial trading, exposure management, valuation hedging, and operational settlement processes.
- Evaluate system capabilities and identify configuration gaps across leading CTRM and ETRM software platforms.
- Gather business requirements from traders and risk managers to compile precise BRD and FRD blueprints.
- Participate actively in enterprise system implementations, platform upgrades, data migrations, and validation testing.
- Help automate redundant operational processes using Python scripting, advanced SQL queries, and Databricks.
- Support digital transformation projects within commodity trading organizations to maximize computational velocity.
- Coordinate workflows between traders, internal risk squads, middle office operations, and external technology vendors.
- Formulate structured functional test scenarios to support multi-phase User Acceptance Testing execution.
- Utilize cloud architecture networks, including AWS, to deploy scalable reporting applications and business dashboards.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Business Analytics, or quantitative branches.
- 3-7 Years of successful experience operating as a functional Business Analyst or CTRM System Analyst.
- Direct working knowledge handling premier platforms such as Endur, RightAngle, Allegro, Aspect, or Eka.
- Hands-on technical familiarity with database environments, SQL querying, and scripting tools like Python.
- Familiarity with modern data platforms (Databricks) and cloud infrastructure frameworks (AWS) is highly preferred.
