Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze global regulatory changes impacting the reinsurance sector.
- Conduct risk assessments for new business treaties and internal operational processes.
- Ensuring strict adherence to AML, KYC, and Sanctions compliance protocols.
- Lead internal reviews and audits to ensure compliance with global group policies.
- Liaise with external regulators and coordinate on statutory reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain the risk register and provide regular updates to the Risk Committee.
- Provide technical training to business teams on compliance and ethical conduct.
- Manage the reporting of incidents and coordinate on remediation and corrective actions.
- Review commercial contracts and reinsurance agreements from a risk perspective.
- Implement automated compliance monitoring systems and data analytics tools.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Degree in Law, Finance, or Risk Management (Professional certification like CAMS or CRM preferred).
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Risk or Compliance within a global BFSI organization.
- Deep understanding of the global regulatory environment for reinsurance.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently on complex assignments.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management across various regions.
