Key Responsibilities for the Claims Associate
- Triage incoming claims in the specialized system and allocate cases to the team for same-day evaluation.
- Ensure all data entry activities are performed with the highest level of accuracy and integrity.
- Update the Referral sheet in a timely manner to maintain transparency across the claims lifecycle.
- Maintain up-to-date data mappings for the applicable portfolio to ensure smooth processing.
- Follow up on audit actions within allocated timeframes to ensure department-wide compliance.
- Reconcile decisions entered into the claims database to guarantee the accuracy of final reports.
- Identify long-pending cases and conduct regular follow-ups with clients for swift resolution.
- Provide detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and analysis as required by management.
- Document and follow strict administration procedures to uphold established service standards.
- Perform regular data validations to ensure that the integrity of the claims portfolio is maintained.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in insurance, reinsurance, or financial services.
- Freshers with a Pharmacy (Pharma) or Medical background are highly encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in Life Claims Administration is considered a significant advantage.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and exposure to MS Access for data management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations proactively.
- High level of attention to detail combined with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
