Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze business needs from users to support effective project planning.
  • Support the development and maintenance of specialized applications for reinsurance data management.
  • Ensure client reinsurance data is received within agreed timelines.
  • Reconcile data with premiums and claims to ensure absolute accuracy.
  • Verify that all processed data aligns strictly with established treaty terms.
  • Identify process improvement areas within the Reinsurance Administration team.
  • Implement best practices and quality assurance measures, including automated testing.
  • Maintain detailed documentation that maps client data to common formats across global systems.
  • Support the documentation of operational procedures to comply with SOX requirements.
  • Participate actively in setting data management and performance goals for the entire organization.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Approximately 2 to 4 years of professional work experience within the Life Insurance Industry.
  • Candidates with a finance background and technical exposure are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Entry-level candidates with a high motivation to learn will also be considered.

Technical Skills and Competencies

  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and resolve complex data discrepancies.
  • Proven ability to work within small teams on large-scale data processing tasks.
  • Working knowledge of data management, data quality protocols, and performance tracking.
  • Familiarity with reinsurance administration systems and common data format mapping.
  • Strong understanding of SOPs, SOX process controls, and insurance regulatory requirements.
