Azure Data Analyst

A Leading Professional Services Firm is seeking an analytical Azure Data Analyst to build enterprise data platforms and modern data pipelines.

The Azure Data Analyst must combine hands-on data engineering capabilities in the Microsoft Azure stack with advanced querying and large-scale data transformation expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and optimize scalable data ingestion, transformation, and migration pipelines on Microsoft Azure.
• Analyze and synthesize structured and semi-structured datasets sourced from complex, distributed business applications.
• Perform comprehensive data profiling, cleaning, and extraction workflows to ensure exceptional data quality.
• Build and maintain analytical models using modern tools across Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and SQL databases.
• Architect data integration layers to streamline business reporting and downstream dashboard applications.
• Troubleshoot data workflow exceptions, debug performance bottlenecks, and refine data pipelines in Agile delivery squads.
• Maintain detailed technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and operational data dictionaries.
• Collaborate actively with onsite teams, cloud architects, and business stakeholders across global offshore engagements.

Requirements and Qualifications

• BE / B.Tech or equivalent professional degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
• 6-8 Years of total IT experience, with more than 3+ years of dedicated, recent work experience in data engineering and analytics.
• Hands-on technical proficiency with the Microsoft Azure data ecosystem, specifically Azure Databricks, Fabric, and SQL.
• Proven track record executing end-to-end data cleaning, extraction, migration, and integration solutions.
• Beneficial credentials: Azure and Fabric certifications such as DP-600, DP-700, DP-203, or DP-080.
