AVP – Network Operations

A Leading Financial Institution is seeking a strategic Associate Vice President – Network Operations to lead its cloud infrastructure team in Mumbai. Key Responsibilities

• Direct the Network Operations Center (NOC) and Security Operations Center (SOC) infrastructure teams.
• Deploy, optimize, and support enterprise solutions, including SDWAN, Network Monitoring, and NAC systems.
• Integrate AI-enabled monitoring bots to manage automated real-time incident tracking loops.
• Oversee comprehensive system post-mortems, identifying structural root causes and customer impacts.
• Liaise with core infrastructure engineering units to define required data telemetry configurations.
• Manage relationships with key security and infrastructure vendors to optimize operational costs.
• Enforce strict internal compliance profiles matching international financial data safety benchmarks.
• Formulate database tracking structures for enterprise routing, switches, and WAN environments.
• Partner with risk managers to execute robust system patch plans and firewall policy parameters.
• Mentor internal technical network specialists on deploying cloud network automation workflows.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Graduate or Postgraduate in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or technical streams.
• 10+ years of experience in the Network operations domain, with a strong engineering history.
• Hands-on technical mastery of Azure Cloud network routing, Express Route, and enterprise firewalls.
• Familiarity with cloud-based network proxies (Zscaler or Prisma Cloud) and advanced network certifications (CCNP/CCIE).
• Superb leadership, communication, and decision-making capabilities inside high-concurrency environments.
