Additionally, you will address statutory insurance authority queries and lead system configuration pipelines for fresh product rollouts. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical pricing and architectural configuration of interest-rate sensitive and investment-linked life insurance portfolios.
  • Design, calibrate, and launch innovative commercial product structures that balance risk and return profiles.
  • Direct the complete new product filing lifecycle, ensuring flawless adherence to regulatory guidelines.
  • Formulate comprehensive response notes to address statutory IRDA product query frameworks with absolute accuracy.
  • Collaborate with IT application engineering teams to oversee accurate backend database system setups for product launches.
  • Steer quantitative capital studies and construct the reporting infrastructure for the Risk-Based Capital regime.
  • Lead corporate asset liability management (ALM) modeling projects and execute structural portfolio stress tests.
  • Apply advanced spreadsheet automation, custom financial scripts, and data calculations using VBA.
  • Monitor macro market changes to compensate for model bias gaps during peak economic variations.
  • Provide strategic quantitative updates and solvency trajectory metrics directly to head office executives.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Fully Qualified Actuary credential from a globally recognized professional actuarial association is preferred.
  • 10+ years of successful professional experience within an insurance actuarial or product development framework.
  • Proven domain expertise handling structural life insurance product pricing and regulatory reporting.
  • Advanced technical mastery of visual basic programming (VBA scripts) and standard quantitative software.
  • Superb stakeholder management capabilities with a track record of driving cross-functional team execution.
