Avaloq Product Owner

A Leading Private Banking Institution is seeking an authoritative Avaloq Product Owner to join its wealth platform delivery team in Pune. In this high-visibility product leadership role, you will take full responsibility for defining and managing the product backlog, aligning functional delivery with corporate strategic targets. Furthermore, you will drive front-to-back platform changes across the Avaloq core environment, managing complex dependencies across data, integrations, and reporting. Consequently, this position is essential for delivering next-generation wealth solutions.

The Avaloq Product Owner must combine deep private banking domain expertise across onboarding, portfolios, trade lifecycles, and corporate actions with hands-on experience handling Avaloq delivery constraints. Operating in a regulated workspace, you will drive SAFe Agile ceremonies, enforce controls-by-design, and track product performance KPIs. Therefore, the bank is looking for a decisive technical leader who manages cross-functional stakeholders and complex change programs seamlessly. Key Responsibilities

• Own, prioritize, and manage the product backlog to deliver front-to-back wealth management technology outcomes.
• Drive functional changes, platform configurations, and release deployments on the Avaloq core banking system.
• Manage multi-system dependencies across integrations, data feeds, financial reporting, and quality assurance testing.
• Enforce controls-by-design, regulatory compliance, and governance standards across all product development tracks.
• Lead SAFe Agile ceremonies, define product acceptance criteria, and monitor product success KPIs.
• Collaborate with private banking stakeholders to optimize client onboarding, KYC, portfolio displays, order routing, and fees.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or an allied quantitative domain.
• 8-12 Years of experience in Product Ownership or Business Analysis within Private Banking or Wealth Management.
• Demonstrable technical experience delivering within Avaloq core environments (configurations, functional releases, constraints).
• Proven expertise in SAFe Agile frameworks, backlog prioritization, controls-by-design, and regulated banking governance.
• Desirable: Preference for Pune-based candidates; exposure to Chatbots, Voicebots, Generative AI, or Genesys Cloud.
