  • Consolidate financial data to support statutory, internal, and management reporting processes.
  • Provide monthly data to actuaries and MIS teams to facilitate accurate internal reporting.
  • Support statutory and internal auditors by providing timely data and ensuring a smooth audit cycle.
  • Prepare critical data decks for the Audit Committee and track the closure of all committee actionables.
  • Evaluate new system requirements and provide Change Requests (CRs) to the IT department.
  • Liaise with IT teams for defect resolution and the successful delivery of system enhancements.
  • Perform rigorous testing of system requirements to ensure error-free financial data processing.
  • Maintain effective controls on data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from a recognized institute.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant post-qualification experience in financial reporting.
  • Specific experience within the Life Insurance industry is a mandatory requirement.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IND AS 117 and current Indian accounting practices.
  • In-depth understanding of the SEBI and IRDAI regulatory frameworks for insurance.
  • Proven ability to manage complex audits and meet strict regulatory submission deadlines.
