Key Responsibilities
- Identify and recruit Insurance Marketing Firms (IMFs) to expand the distribution network.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve area-wise sales targets.
- Manage and mentor a team of Deputy Managers to ensure high productivity and field support.
- Ensure all IMFs are fully compliant with IRDAI regulations and company quality standards.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to IMFs and their staff.
- Drive product awareness and sales through effective training and marketing initiatives.
- Facilitate the licensing and onboarding process for new IMF partners.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities.
- Ensure high persistency and quality of business across the IMF channel.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and senior management.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Graduate / MBA with 8–12 years of experience in Life Insurance sales.
- At least 3 years of experience in managing the IMF or Agency channel.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a dispersed team.
- Deep understanding of the IMF model and IRDAI distribution guidelines.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
