Application Architect

A Leading Technology Services Firm is seeking a strategic Application Architect to lead enterprise system design and platform engineering in Bengaluru. The Application Architect must combine deep microservices and event-driven design capabilities with hands-on experience leveraging AI-enabled development tools. Operating at the intersection of business strategy and software delivery, you will conduct design reviews, establish AI guardrails, and optimize distributed computing components. Key Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and execute enterprise application architecture roadmaps, technical standards, and blueprints.
• Lead cross-functional agile development teams in delivering scalable microservices and distributed platform solutions.
• Conduct architecture governance reviews, design assessments, and provide technical solution recommendations.
• Incorporate AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, AI agents) and MCP-based workflows into software development pipelines.
• Establish validation, trust, and governance frameworks for AI-assisted code generation and requirements engineering.
• Optimize system architectures for high availability, performance, scalability, resiliency, and security.
• Partner with product managers, lead engineers, and business leaders to align technical solutions with corporate targets.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an allied technical field.
• 8-12+ Years of experience in Application Architecture, Product Management, or Technical Program Leadership.
• Proven expertise in system design, microservices architecture, event-driven frameworks, and distributed computing.
• Demonstrated technical experience with modern web architectures, cloud platforms, DevOps, CI/CD, and REST APIs.
• Hands-on exposure to AI engineering tools, prompt engineering techniques, and AI governance mechanisms.
