Key Responsibilities for the AM – Insurance Operations
- Lead the end-to-end insurance operations for P&C lines, focusing on policy administration and claims.
- Manage team performance, including attrition management, grievance handling, and daily task scheduling.
- Oversee core policy administration tasks such as bookings, binders, policy issuance, and cancellations.
- Support underwriting and submission processes to ensure accuracy and reliability in documentation.
- Coordinate with global stakeholders to maintain high service standards and effective communication.
- Utilize specialized applications like GG, APLUS, and Salesforce (SFDC) for daily operational tasks.
- Conduct daily reviews of priorities to ensure all time-sensitive tasks are completed within deadlines.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for leadership using advanced Excel and PPT skills.
- Maintain high accuracy and pro-activeness while working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Drive a positive professional attitude within the team to foster continuous learning and growth.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Graduate or Post Graduate degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 6 to 10 years of experience in P&C Insurance (Mandatory) within an MNC.
- At least 5+ years of experience working in the insurance domain for EU, UK, or NA regions.
- Mandatory experience in team handling, including performance and attrition management.
- Strong knowledge of P&C domain areas such as claims, submissions, and underwriting support.
- Business fluency in English with exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to work in US shifts to support international business operations.
Technical Skills and Competencies
- Preferred experience with various insurance applications including GG, APLUS, and SFDC.
- Advanced task planning and time management skills for high-volume workload management.
- Self-motivated individual with a positive and pro-active professional manner.
- Proven ability to operate largely independently within given operational guidelines.
