In this technical role, you will play a key part in the development of robust pricing solutions for new insurance products. The AM / DM – Actuarial Pricing must collaborate with IT and Operations to oversee system implementation and product testing. Additionally, you will assist in the preparation of regulatory filing documents and liaison with reinsurers for pricing support. Therefore, the company is looking for a professional with 3 to 4 years of actuarial experience and significant paper progress. Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of accurate pricing solutions by establishing and maintaining actuarial models.
  • Ensure all pricing inputs and cash-flow projections are reasonable, documented, and reliable.
  • Review and prepare technical product filing documents for submission to the regulator.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage UAT and system setup for new product features.
  • Liaise with reinsurers for pricing support and the finalization of treaty documentation.
  • Provide feedback on product features to support the design of customer-centric insurance solutions.
  • Maintain highly auditable model workings and comprehensive data backups.
  • Interact with experience analysis teams to validate underlying pricing assumptions.
  • Monitor task delivery to ensure all assigned items are completed accurately and on time.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior actuarial staff and interns.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Graduate/Post Graduate degree with at least 7 actuarial papers cleared.
  • 3 to 4 years of relevant work experience in the life insurance actuarial domain.
  • Excellent understanding of actuarial cash flows and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; experience with Prophet or Python is a plus.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in teams.
