Key Responsibilities
- Manage, test, and support global Prophet libraries throughout the structured software development lifecycle.
- Interact directly with regional insurance customers to capture evolving model requirements and technical specifications.
- Provide technical user support, resolving model query blocks and publishing hotfixes for code requirements.
- Perform meticulous model merges of fresh software releases into existing active library versions safely.
- Build comprehensive Prophet models in strict alignment with centralized global coding standards and rules.
- Execute detailed testing tracks to deliver robust quality assurance indices directly to regional corporate headers.
- Author clean documentation materials and conduct upskilling training sessions for internal team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional actuarial units and IT operations to shorten model delivery timelines.
- Maintain clear status logs and flag potential target delivery concerns early to senior leadership.
- Incorporate modern programming scripts into validation streams to streamline financial data tracking.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Commerce, or relevant quantitative fields.
- 6-12 Months of core actuarial experience, preferably inside an actuarial modeling or operations support squad.
- Successful completion of a minimum of 3-4 professional actuarial exams from a recognized global institute.
- Demonstrated technical exposure to actuarial modeling applications (Prophet platform experience is highly preferred).
- Advantageous familiarity with mainstream programming languages including Python, VB, VBA, or C++ scripting.
