Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the actuarial pricing cycle for individual life insurance products, generating premium matrices and benefit structures.
  • Own the structural compilation of product filing documentations in strict accordance with regulatory frameworks.
  • Draft precise, technical responses to address statutory queries and compliance clarifications raised by the regulator.
  • Partner directly with Sales, Investments, and Corporate Products teams to finalize profitable product designs.
  • Formulate product portfolio strategies aimed at optimizing capital employment allocations and driving profitability metrics.
  • Propose innovative benefit configurations and insurance riders based on granular competitive market research.
  • Participate actively in enterprise risk mitigation planning sessions and asset-liability match modeling tracks.
  • Engage internal technology stakeholders to manage UAT parameters, system configuration rules, and platform launches.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree qualification in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related quantitative stream.
  • 3-6 Years of core experience operating within the individual product pricing wing of a recognized life insurance firm.
  • Successful professional completion and clearance of a minimum of 6 actuarial exams from an accredited institute.
  • Advanced technical mastery handling MS Excel architectures, data arrays, and VBA macro development rules.
  • Beneficial hands-on coding familiarity using specialized actuarial software platforms such as Prophet or DCS.
