Key Responsibilities
- Support global actuarial projects across life, health, and non-life insurance sectors.
- Develop and maintain actuarial models using tools such as Prophet, MG-ALFA, or Excel VBA.
- Perform detailed data cleansing and analysis to support valuation and pricing assignments.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and client presentations on risk and capital.
- Participate in the implementation of new reporting standards such as IFRS 17 and Solvency II.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis and stress testing of actuarial model assumptions.
- Work collaboratively with senior actuaries to solve complex technical problems.
- Ensure all actuarial work products meet the firm’s strict quality and peer-review standards.
- Contribute to the development of internal tools and innovative actuarial approaches.
- Proactively manage personal development and progress through professional actuarial exams.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in an actuarial function or consulting environment.
- Successful completion of at least 3 to 5 actuarial papers from a recognized institute (IAI/IFoA).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and exposure to actuarial modeling software (Prophet preferred).
- Strong analytical, programming (Python/R), and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting.
