Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 5+ Field Relationship Managers to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Strengthen the direct distribution network by identifying, recruiting, and training high-potential sales talent.
- Monitor team performance daily and provide constructive feedback to ensure high activity and productivity.
- Conduct joint field calls with team members to close complex cases and provide on-the-ground coaching.
- Drive a profitable product mix as per the company’s strategic goals and customer needs.
- Ensure high levels of customer retention and persistency across the unit’s portfolio.
- Foster a culture of stability and excellence within the team, minimizing attrition and maximizing engagement.
- Implement local marketing and lead generation initiatives to support the team’s sales pipeline.
- Ensure all sales activities are fully compliant with IRDAI regulations and internal ethical standards.
- Analyze area performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and implement corrective actions.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Graduate or Post Graduate in any discipline with a strong foundation in life insurance.
- Proven experience in Direct, Agency, or Bancassurance channels is essential.
- Demonstrated stability in previous roles (no frequent job changes) with a track record of promotions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
- Team handling experience is a must; however, exceptional candidates with continuous growth will be considered.
- Ability to manage a dispersed team and work effectively in a high-pressure sales environment.
