Key Responsibilities for the AM – Policy Servicing & Payouts

  • Lead the end-to-end processing of customer-initiated payouts such as policy surrenders and freelook cancellations.
  • Execute daily reconciliations to verify that every customer receives their payout within industry-leading TATs.
  • Ensure 100% of all payouts are processed through secure electronic modes (e-mode) for maximum efficiency.
  • Maintain the highest level of payout accuracy to prevent financial discrepancies or customer escalations.
  • Prepare and share daily MIS reports with senior management to provide full visibility into service operations.
  • Update and amend Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) promptly as business processes evolve.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to manage self-service modules, chatbots, and customer portals.
  • Monitor service workflows to achieve a target of zero escalations and zero processing delays.
  • Ensure strict adherence to internal compliance standards to achieve zero audit observations.
  • Provide expert resolution to complex policy servicing requests while maintaining industry benchmarks.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience specifically within the Life Insurance domain.
  • Proven track record in handling policy servicing and high-volume financial payout processes.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced experience in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder coordination.
  • Demonstrated logical reasoning abilities to troubleshoot and resolve operational bottlenecks.
