Executive / Sr. Executive – Claims

We are currently seeking a qualified professional for an Executive / Sr. Executive – Claims position within a leading private life insurance group. This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of Group MFI claims, ensuring that every case is handled with precision. The successful candidate will verify eligibility, validate documentation, and assess policy coverage to ensure fair, timely, and compliant settlement of claims.

The Executive / Sr. Executive – Claims role is vital for delivering consistent customer and partner satisfaction. It involves handling high volumes and quick turnarounds with a primary focus on accuracy and strict adherence to Turnaround Times (TAT).

Key Responsibilities

• Register, evaluate, and process Group MFI claims to determine validity based on policy terms and conditions.
• Coordinate with sales teams and Master Policy Holders (MPH) regarding claim status, requirements, or decisions.
• Ensure all claims processes adhere to company policies, guidelines, and IRDAI regulations.
• Maintain MIS management by preparing and sharing dashboards for monitoring and tracking.
• Analyze information to identify and highlight emerging fraud trends.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Sales, Customer Service, Finance, IT, and Legal.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Any Graduate or Post-Graduate degree.
• 1-3 years of experience in claims processing, preferably within the MFI sector.
• Professional certification such as Licentiate, Associate, or Fellow from the Insurance Institute of India is preferred.

Technical Skills and Abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with MPH and sales teams.
• Strong understanding of Group Insurance and MFI-specific claim processes.
• High proficiency in MS Excel for MIS management and data tracking.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and adapt to dynamic business needs.
