Pricing Actuary AGM / GM

A Leading Life Insurance Company is seeking an authoritative Pricing Actuary AGM / GM to lead individual life insurance product pricing.

The Pricing Actuary AGM / GM must combine advanced actuarial qualifications with deep experience developing competitive, customer-centric product pricing structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the actuarial product pricing lifecycle for new product launches and enhancements to existing product lines.
• Construct, review, and validate dynamic pricing models, cash-flow projections, and profitability metrics.
• Provide critical actuarial feedback on product features to achieve competitive market positioning and robust commercial margins.
• Maintain comprehensive, fully auditable model workings, methodology papers, and assumption documentation.
• Lead the technical compilation and review of product filing documents and statutory submissions for the IRDAI.
• Partner closely with IT and Operations squads to govern system implementation, functional specs, and UAT for product configurations.
• Collaborate with Experience Analysis, Risk, and Planning teams to calibrate pricing assumptions and assess business plan impacts.
• Lead technical negotiations and manage ongoing treaty documentation with global reinsurance partners.
• Manage, mentor, and cultivate technical capabilities within the actuarial pricing squad.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Fully Qualified Actuary or Nearly Qualified Actuary from a recognized professional body (IAI, IFoA, or SOA).
• 10-12 Years of life insurance actuarial experience, including dedicated years managing individual life product pricing.
• Deep technical understanding of actuarial cash-flow modeling, profit testing, and capital metrics.
• Advanced practical modeling proficiency in MS Excel (including VBA); hands-on exposure to Prophet, R, or Python is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership traits, strong team management capabilities, and exceptional stakeholder management skills.
