A Leading Technology Solutions Provider is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and containerized platforms. In this core DevOps engineering position, you will take responsibility for provisioning modular AWS infrastructure using Terraform and managing Kubernetes clusters on Amazon EKS. Furthermore, you will construct automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Bitbucket Actions to accelerate software release velocity. Consequently, this role is essential for ensuring cloud security, platform observability, and operational stability.
The AWS DevOps Engineer must combine extensive hands-on expertise in AWS core services with deep Kubernetes cluster administration and Python automation scripting. Working closely with cross-functional development teams, you will optimize account governance, implement GitOps workflows, and establish observability using New Relic and CloudWatch. Therefore, the company is looking for an analytical engineer who resolves pod-level networking issues and participates in on-call reliability rotations comfortably. If you want to scale modern cloud-native architectures, this position is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, provision, and maintain secure, scalable AWS infrastructure using modular Terraform codebases and remote state management.
- Lead the deployment, configuration, and operations of production Kubernetes clusters on Amazon EKS (managed node groups, Fargate).
- Manage Kubernetes workload scheduling, namespace governance, resource quotas, and autoscaling policies (HPA, VPA, KEDA).
- Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines utilizing Bitbucket Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD for GitOps delivery.
- Develop custom Python scripts and operational tooling to eliminate manual tasks and enhance developer experience.
- Implement full-stack observability and monitoring dashboards using New Relic, AWS CloudWatch, and Elastic stack.
- Enforce AWS cloud security baselines, IAM role policies, secrets management, and compliance controls across multi-account environments.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ Years of hands-on experience in a dedicated DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering role.
- Deep technical expertise across AWS core services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda).
- Expert-level proficiency in Kubernetes administration, CNI networking, ingress controllers, and production Terraform provisioning.
- Beneficial certifications: CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, or AWS Solutions Architect.
