A Leading Electronic Payment Solutions Company is seeking an operational Application Operations Eng to take end-to-end ownership of its global payment gateway applications. In this high-reliability engineering role, you will manage production application health, automated release deployments, certificate lifecycles, and incident response for Tier-1 platforms. Furthermore, you will onboard services onto modern observability platforms like New Relic and Splunk to eliminate noise and detect issues before customer impact. Consequently, this position is vital for maintaining high transaction availability across global payment networks.

The Application Operations Eng must combine deep operational expertise in either Windows/SQL Server or Linux/Kubernetes environments with strong automation programming skills. Working alongside Development, Infrastructure, and Security squads, you will convert repetitive maintenance and patching tasks into automated pipelines using Python, PowerShell, or Go. Therefore, the organization is looking for an engineer who thrives in structured 24/7 on-call rotations and turns every incident into a durable technical fix. Key Responsibilities

• Own application-layer health, performance, capacity planning, and release deployments for critical production payment services.
• Automate application and middleware patch orchestration into repeatable CI/CD pipelines with automated health checks and rollbacks.
• Automate TLS certificate lifecycles and renewals to prevent production expirations across all managed application estates.
• Onboard applications onto observability platforms (New Relic, Splunk, Datadog), tuning alert thresholds to reflect user-facing symptoms.
• Participate in a formal 24/7 on-call rotation for Tier-1 payment gateways, leading application-level triage during major incidents.
• Manage application configurations, Helm chart values, resource limits, and autoscaling parameters on Kubernetes or Windows estates.
• Develop custom operational tooling and automation integrations using Python, PowerShell, Go, or TypeScript.
• Support PCI DSS compliance audits by maintaining accurate technical runbooks and gathering operational evidence.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• 4+ Years of experience supporting mission-critical enterprise applications in a 24/7 production operations environment.
• Strong hands-on expertise in either Linux with Kubernetes/Cloud or Windows Server with Microsoft SQL Server (familiarity with both).
• Demonstrated proficiency in building observability dashboards and actionable alerts using New Relic, Splunk, Datadog, or Prometheus.
• Practical programming or scripting capability in Python, PowerShell, Go, or TypeScript to automate operational toil.
