SailPoint IIQ Engineer

A Leading Technology Consulting Firm is seeking a technical SailPoint IIQ Engineer to join its Identity and Access Management (IAM) practice in Gurugram. In this critical security engineering position, you will take full responsibility for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise IAM architectures using SailPoint IdentityIQ. Furthermore, you will onboard target business applications, author custom BeanShell rules, and automate identity lifecycles across hybrid cloud environments. Consequently, this role is essential for safeguarding corporate access and enforcing security compliance.

The SailPoint IIQ Engineer must combine strong Java and BeanShell scripting capabilities with deep practical experience configuring out-of-the-box and custom IIQ connectors. Working alongside cross-functional engineering teams, you will troubleshoot complex multi-system failures, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using Splunk, and integrate third-party enterprise tools. Therefore, the organization is looking for a detail-oriented IAM developer who designs robust error-handling mechanisms seamlessly. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and maintain custom SailPoint IdentityIQ rules, workflows, and policies utilizing BeanShell and Java.
• Onboard and configure enterprise applications using WebServices connectors, Delimited File connectors, and JDBC integrations.
• Integrate SailPoint IdentityIQ with third-party systems (Oracle Fusion EPM, BMC Helix, Anaplan, Avature) for automated provisioning.
• Provide Level 3 production support for identity aggregation, automated provisioning, and access governance workflows.
• Perform comprehensive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on complex multi-system failures using Splunk log analysis and code tracing.
• Design and implement fail-safe mechanisms, proactive error-handling routines, and identity monitoring dashboards.
• Support REST API integrations to streamline identity lifecycle management across cloud and on-premises application landscapes.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or an allied technical branch.
• 5-8 Years of dedicated experience operating within Identity and Access Management (IAM), with a focus on SailPoint IdentityIQ.
• Strong programming proficiency in BeanShell, Core Java, RESTful APIs, XML, and SQL database querying.
• Demonstrated expertise onboarding enterprise applications and integrating ticketing/ERP systems with SailPoint IIQ.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk or enterprise log analysis tools for troubleshooting and production support.
