Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality technical advisory services to domestic and international non-life insurance clients.
- Lead the operational delivery of IFRS 17 and Ind AS 117 model implementation and assurance projects.
- Perform rigorous actuarial audit reviews, liability computations, and statutory valuation tracking.
- Support transaction advisory teams by executing technical actuarial due diligence for corporate buyers or sellers.
- Contribute to corporate product development tracks and the mathematical pricing of insurance products.
- Formulate asset liability management models and align workflows with internal risk frameworks.
- Interact with senior client stakeholders to communicate model limitations and analytical findings.
- Apply advanced modeling techniques using specialized software platforms like ResQ or comparable systems.
- Manipulate large-scale insurance datasets using Excel macros, VBA, or customized Python scripts.
- Collaborate actively across cross-functional consulting squads to resolve complex financial problems.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Graduation with at least 4 actuarial papers cleared from IAI or IFoA under the current curriculum standards.
- 1 to 7 years of core actuarial experience, with at least 3 years explicitly focused on insurance platforms.
- Mandatory practical experience handling IFRS 17 or Ind AS 117 regulatory frameworks.
- Strong working knowledge of General Insurance products, valuation methodologies, and database analysis.
- Advanced mastery of MS Excel combined with functional application familiarity in Python or VBA coding.
